For all of your family

Cumberland wildlife park is located in Grünau im Almtal near Gmunden. It stretches over 60 hectares where you can observe native wildlife in its natural habitat. You can also admire the marvellous panoramic view of the "Totes Gebirge" mountain range. At Cumberland wildlife park you can find animals like capricorn, red deer or wisent.

At the end of the loop road you will find a park restaurant and a play area for your kids.

Hiking with Betty

The certified hiking guide and forest pedagogue Betty Jehle is offering great and interesting activities during the summer months for young people in Gosau. Here are some of the program points:

The motley experience on the "Zwieselalm" with fun and play in the nature:

Rope climbing games
Nature and experience games
Build your own mandalas and forest pictures
Tinker your own "Zwieselalm" coins with natural materials
Forest Education

An important aspect is to promote the enthusiasm for nature. Positive experience while hiking through the forest, social contact and feeling with all senses.

Getting to know more about animals and plants
Creativity and many more

… with the 3 donkeyladies Lisi, Flora and Laura. Before the tour starts, the children can help with cleaning and saddling up. On the beautiful tour through the Gosau valley, the kids can ride or guide the donkeys. It’s great fun for the whole family.
